The Riverside estate comprises four buildings on a 2.4-hectare site on the main river at Carrara. Previously it housed six separate sites with a motel, nursery, ski school and dwellings. Initially the ski school was renovated into a family entertainment complex that incorporated a kitchen, dining, living, guest suite and home theatre. Externally there is a wood-fired pizza oven, teppanyaki bar, a large river deck with a pontoon providing access to the river. New boat ramp facilities were constructed with a fish cleaning and crab cooking area. The facilities of the estate also include a fully tiled 25metre wet edge lap pool and full-size day/night tennis court.
 

The other old buildings were demolished to make way for two luxury residences each of approximately 1000m2. Later in the timeline a third residence was also built. One

of the houses incorporates a large gallery entry with an internal link to a fully equipped gym. The other residence has been designed to accommodate a large family

and has separate areas to allow privacy for all.

 

We undertook design and documentation of all hardscape, a landscape architect provided soft landscape design. The grounds have been landscaped with a lush tropical theme, but still incorporating large parkland type open space. A boardwalk links all the buildings via the river edge, with private seating areas having been designed as part of the boardwalk system.
 

We also undertook all the interior design and selections for the whole project.
